Scholarships

ICAAA is committed to ensuring that student-athletes and artists receive the financial support they need to excel in both academics as well as arts and sports. By strategically allocating revenue and securing sponsorships, we aim to build a sustainable scholarship system that benefits both students and universities.

How ICAAA Funds Scholarships

A significant portion upto 50% of the total revenue is reinvested into student scholarships and university infrastructure development to enhance the collegiate arts and athletics ecosystem.

Scholarship Distribution & University Support
  • 25% of the total revenue will be allocated to student scholarships, ensuring financial support for participants.
  • All sponsorship funds will be routed through ICAAA, ensuring transparency and fair distribution among universities and students.
Performance-Based Scholarships & Bonuses

To reward excellence and incentivize competition, ICAAA provides additional scholarships and bonuses:

  • Conference Champions Bonus: The top three universities in each of the eight conferences will receive additional funding based on their performance:
    • 1st place: 0.5% of total revenue
    • 2nd place: 0.4% of total revenue
    • 3rd place: 0.3% of total revenue
  • MVP Scholarships: The top three Most Valuable Players (MVPs) in each conference will receive an additional monetary scholarship as a reward for their exceptional contributions.
Direct Student Scholarships
  • Participation-Based Scholarships: 25% of the total revenue will be distributed equally among all participating students, ensuring that every student-athlete and artist benefits from ICAAA’s support.
  • Scholarship Payments: Each student will receive an equal amount as a monthly payment for 10 months, helping them manage their academic and extracurricular expenses.
  • Additional Academic Scholarships: Students demonstrating excellence in both academics and arts/sports will be eligible for exclusive academic scholarships, further reinforcing ICAAA’s commitment to holistic student development.

Through this model, ICAAA ensures that universities receive the necessary funding for growth, and students are financially supported throughout their collegiate journey. Our goal is to create an ecosystem where talent, effort, and dedication are rewarded, allowing students to pursue their dreams without financial constraints.

  1. Executive Council
    • Director of University Relations
  2. University Advisory Assembly (UAA)
    • Each member-university appoints two representatives to serve on the University Advisory assembly. While the University Advisory Assembly primarily serves an advisory role, its members do hold voting power on select issues that require broader institutional input. In such cases, each UAB member is granted one vote, allowing universities to shape key decisions that directly impact athletes/artists, academic integrity, or partnership alignment. University representatives must include:
      1. ICAAA Artistic & Athletic Director (AAD): A full-time university staff member who serves as the primary point of contact between the university and ICAAA and has voting rights on the UAB. This staff member provides oversight of all athletic and artistic program operations, including coach management, facility coordination, scheduling, recruiting compliance, and athlete eligibility. They ensure that institutional policies align with ICAAA standards and facilitate smooth communication between campus leadership and ICAAA governance structure. Representatives may also choose to meet independently as a University AAD Committee
      2. ICAAA Student Representative: The ICAAA Student Representative is the lead student voice for their university within the ICAAA governance structure. Representing both athletes/artists and artists, they participate in the University Advisory assembly, contribute to policy discussions on campus, and cast one of the university’s two votes on select decisions. This role includes gathering feedback from peers, advocating for student interests, and promoting integrity, inclusion, and excellence across all ICAAA programs. ICAAA Student Representatives may also choose to meet independently as a Student Athlete & Artist Committee (SAAC)
