Eligibility

To maintain a competitive and structured environment, ICAAA has established clear eligibility criteria for universities, colleges, and student participants. Each participating institution must compete in at least three ICAAA-sanctioned competitions, one in arts and one in athletics, with the third being from either category.

ICAAA operates on a scholarship-based semi-professional model, ensuring that all athletes and artists receive scholarships and are officially certified as ICAAA members. These individuals will be governed by the ICAAA Talent Management Team, ensuring compliance with the association’s regulations while providing guidance for their development.

To uphold the integrity of the competition and protect the amateur status of student-athletes and artists, the following eligibility rules apply:

  • Participants cannot sign contracts with professional sports clubs.
  • They are not allowed to earn a salary by playing a sport or performing.
  • Trials for professional teams or participation in professional events are prohibited unless approved by ICAAA.
  • Agreements with agents outside ICAAA are not permitted to maintain fairness and transparency in talent management.
Participation Guidelines

Students must adhere to ICAAA’s participation rules to maintain eligibility. While they are allowed to engage in professional sports, performances, or shows, they must do so strictly under ICAAA regulations. They can earn money from their talent only through ICAAA-approved contracts, and any prize money must come from ICAAA-sanctioned competitions. Representation is restricted to ICAAA or its approved agents, ensuring that students receive proper support while staying within the guidelines.

Educational Requirements

Academic performance remains a priority for ICAAA participants. Students must meet the educational standards set by ICAAA to continue competing in their respective fields. Institutions are expected to provide a balanced environment where education and extracurricular excellence go hand in hand, ensuring that students are prepared for future success beyond their time in ICAAA competitions.
