Medical & Wellness Committee

This committee focuses on the health and well-being of student-athletes and artists. It oversees medical policies, injury management, mental health support, and overall well-being initiatives.

Student Representation

ICAAA values student participation in its governance structure. A dedicated Student Representative will ensure that the voices, concerns, and suggestions of student-athletes and artists are heard at the decision-making level.

Selection & Appointment Process

ICAAA is in the process of establishing a transparent and merit-based selection process for committee members and leadership positions. The selection criteria will focus on:

  • Professional Experience & Expertise: Candidates should have a strong background in sports administration, arts management, finance, or ethics, depending on their role.
  • Institutional Representation: University and college representatives will be nominated based on their contributions and commitment to ICAAA’s mission.
  • Election & Appointment: Certain key positions, such as the President and committee leads, will be elected or appointed based on a structured evaluation process. Future governance policies will outline the nomination, voting, and tenure guidelines.
  • Student Leadership Opportunities: The Student Representative will be selected through a structured process that ensures diverse student voices are included in governance decisions.

As ICAAA continues to expand, we will refine the governance framework to best serve the evolving needs of the collegiate arts and athletics ecosystem.
